Hi,
At the moment I am finding it a little difficult in rotating both the front & right view, so its square on i.e. matches the orientation of the top view.
Once I have rotated the top view, what method shall I use to rotate the other views? Is there a quick way of doing this?
I am using the section tool to isolate certain areas.
Thanks
Matt
Hello,
I am not sure if this matches your workflow exactly but you could try using the Accudraw commands RE and RV in combination with the ACS Plane lock to have your front and right views match. So...

Training helps — suggest to your employer that investment in employees is a proven success.
I believe that the Bentley Institute offers both classroom and on-line training.
There are also peer-to-peer interest groups, who occasionally hold meetings. They are often prepared to help.

RE should be there, it was available in MicroStation V8 XM, see the article on: Rotate AccuDraw compass to match angle of element With AccuDraw in focus (F11 or space bar), type R first, you should see the rotation commands for Accudraw.
Regarding the orientation (upside views), maybe check which way the Red (X axis) and Green (Y axis) of the Accudraw compass are aligned to element.
For more on AccuDraw, have a look at AccuDraw Secrets (content in menu items in column on left)
