In the text editor wp mode insert symbol should let you search for this and let you save it as a named favorite and then you can pull it down and use it but again if a font donsnt have it you can make it happen... So you'll need to know which fonts you use for it to work in..

I needed squared, cubed, ohms and centerline CL found that it worked in my most used client std font so I saved then in the favourites for my text editor and just use the insert and choose the favorite by name.. saves a lot of time and dont have to remember ascci code numbers...

You can use following codes along with the alt key to input the characters:

160 á (0225)

161 í (0237)
164 ñ (0241)
162 ó (0243)
163 ú (0250)
129 ü (0252)
Á (0193)
144 É (0201)
Í (0205)
165 Ñ (0209)
Ó (0211)
Ú (0218)
154 Ü (0220)
168 ¿ (0191)
173 ¡ (0161)

ex: alt+160 / alt +0225 = á

The font you are using will also have to have the character defined for these to function.

I'm using an English version of Microstation V8i SelectSeries2 on a PC with Windows 7 Enterprise

Just curious... are you using English or Spanish versions of MicroStation and Windows? Also what (specific) versions of MicroStation and Windows are you using?
