Missing IFC export

You can do the following with IFC files:

• Attach them as references
• Place them as cells
• Open them in read-only mode
• Open and save them as DGN files

IFC files open as read-only. You can import IFC files as DGN files. To export, you should do what Jon Summers suggests and take a look at AECOsim Building Designer.

What are you really  trying to do in Microstation? and are you using  just plain Microstation  assuming you dont have AECOsim and  only plain  microstation then you cant cant really make  data that is BIM relevant  so making data available for IFC is not  going to work anyway...

So I assume you need to give it to some  BIM people  who want to import your  DGN vector data,  if so then  assume its for  REVIT or similar they  should be able to   import  autocad DWG data .. so ask them  if they can import DWG or DGN  if only  DWG then just export to DWG...
