Microstation Connect has stopped working (10.00.00.25)

Having an issue with new version of Microstation connect (10.00.00.25). Uninstalled previous version and installed new copy but every time I start the program I immediately get the 'Microstation Connect has stopped working' dialog.

Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times but same message each time. Anyone come across this?

  • Hmmm... are any exception logs being created? Could you provide some information on the system this is being run on? When you say "Uninstalled previous version", is that one of the "technology previews" (i.e. Early Access Program) builds? Or a previous release of MicroStation? Have you tried running "microstation -RestoreDefaults" from the command line (i.e. start a DOS Command Shell, cd to where microstation.exe is installed, then "microstation -RestoreDefaults" without the " double quotes) and then starting MicroStation again?
