Microstation Connect has stopped working (10.00.00.25)

Having an issue with new version of Microstation connect (10.00.00.25). Uninstalled previous version and installed new copy but every time I start the program I immediately get the 'Microstation Connect has stopped working' dialog.

Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times but same message each time. Anyone come across this?

  • I get the same thing.

    I ran the technology preview releases without any problem, but can't launch the released version. My laptop was rebuilt about two weeks ago and since then I have not installed any of the preview releases of CONNECT.

    After I got the MicroStation CONNECT has stopped working dialog I clicked on the send logs to Bentley link. The dialog goes away but the MicroStation CONNECT splash screen stays up and the microstation task continues to run. I eventually have to stop the task. When I do that the microstation.exe process is still running and I have to kill that is well.

    I tried the -RestoreDefaults as suggested by Phil but still get the same result.

    I am running this on an HP Pavilion dv7 laptop.
    My system info is as follows:
    Operating System - Windows 7, 64 bit, Service Pack 1
    Processor - Intel Core i3-2310M 2.10GHz
    RAM - 8GB
    Graphics - Intel HD Graphics

    The only other Bentley product I have installed is PowerInRoads 08.11.09.845
