When we reinstalled BitDefender Antivirus, we are (so far) unsuccessful at getting CONNECT to run. We tried adding all of the exceptions we could that were related to CONNECT but we're back to the same results.

My IT Network Admin asked me to get the name of the DLL('s) that is/are responsible for CONNECT to launch & run. He believes he needs to identify them in the "exceptions" for the antivirus..
Thanks for providing an error log. The Windows Error Reporting log(WER dump) that you provided from this error that you are seeing indicates a conflict with your virus scan program and MicroStation. The error that is occurring is related to a DLL which is part of the BitDefender® Antivirus that is causing a crash.

Can we try a couple of things here:

Update to the latest version of the antivirus

Disable virus scan. Is it possible to temporarily disable the antivirus before running MicroStation CONNECT?

Add MicroStation to an exclusion list in the antivirus program
