This was discussed as part of the EAP and I thought resolved.

RE: CONNECT - Missing icons

I too used the posted Dgnlib and only the Dimension Radial tool does not have an icon. This is because that tool no longer exist. There were other problems in EAP3 that would not properly look up the proper icon due to TaskID and command number changes between SS3 and MicroStation CONNECT. Stuart's dgnlib did shed light on that issue back in SS3. If Stuart is using the exact same dgnlib as the one posted to this site then I do not know why he his seeing additional missing icons. If he is using a different one that was possibly edited in one of the EAP releases, the dgnlib may have been marked internally that is was upgraded to be compatible with CONNECT which means that the conversion between SS3 tools and CONNECT tools is not needed.

RE: CONNECT - Missing icons

It doesn't seem to be a software problem with a correctly configured configuration.
As mentioned by René R. van den Brink, I also dropped your DGNlib into a correctly configured Configuration and did not have any missing icons. This issue seems to point to issues with your Configuration. Try backing out your personal customization of your configuration to debug.

RE: CONNECT - Missing icons

I guess not!!

RE: CONNECT - Missing icons

Any news with getting this sorted out?

RE: CONNECT - Missing icons

This was to be investigated by Bill from Bentley for EAP4 but I never got any reply/resolution.
I'm not. As suggested by Bentley on the EAP forum I have copied over the installed CONNECT workspace from "C:\ProgramData\Bentley\CONNECT Edition\Configuration\Organization" to our server, and pointed CONNECT to this.
I believe this is what Rene was trying to advise. Maybe if you should provide the workflow you are following to move your custom V8i SS3 workspace for use in MicroStation CONNECT Edition along with this customized workspace so we can advise on the best options you have for what you are trying to achieve.
As noted I copied the installed to our server. and amended "WorkSpaceSetup.cfg" (as suggested by Bentley) which has "_USTN_WORKSPACESROOT = I:/CONNECT-workspace/WS-WorkSpace/" set. Our server workspace has a CONNECT.cfg ijn the Standards folder, with a number of configs set.

RE: CONNECT - Missing icons

You should not just be pointing the CONNECT version to a server workspace designed for V8i SS3 as they have a completely different structure and workflow.
I created a new Workspace and Workset, and added ws-gui.dgnlip to …\WorkSets\StuartW\Standards\Dgnlib\GUI
With that, not all missing icons were reproducible. Just one remained unavailable; Dimension Radial
And it looks like that this menu item has not been defined.
Something to do with the identifiers between V8i and CONNECT, that's wrong in the delivered GUI.dgnlib (...\MicroStation\Default\GUI\en) but you can customize both this one and V8i Tasks.dgnlib (...\MicroStation\Default\GUI\Archive\en) to incorporate the changes you made to your dgnlib.
This is probably easier than the other way around.
