I want to use the "measure distance along element" tool in Mircostation. It seems the CONNECT edition stops supporting using this tool along element with reference models in sheet models. I can use this tool in design model without any problems.
To overcome this problem I have to 'merge' the reference model into sheet model to allow me to use the tool which can be time consuming.
It was working fine in older version (Mircostation SelectSeries3)
I can provide a video on what I was talking about if anyone requests it

Hello, do you know if this has been fixed in Connect yet? I'm using update 16.1 and this tool is still behaving like you describe it (in other words, still broken), where you have to activate the reference file in order to get the proper measurement.

The problem is that in the whole discussion, I do not see any confirmation that Bug number (formerly Defect number) was assigned to this issue. And generally, when Bug number is not assigned, it is not recognized as something to be prioritized by managers and fixed by developers.
