teething problems with Connect edition

Definitely agree but after the beta/EAP it isn't a surprise, the real surprise is that a lot of people still want it to work EXACTLY like SS3, (or previous versions) which doesn't make any sense to me.

I don't think it is a surprise, I remember the early phase of EAP, there was a lot of resistance to the ribbon UI, most mellowed as they could see that there was no way Bentley were going to revert having done so much development.

I like the fresh look but I still use the Task UI as I hate tools hidden behind tabs just as I do with Word and Excel.

It is great that they have kept Tasks for now and hope that they will reconsider dropping it the future.
