Masking of Arrow heads

Question

Is it possible to Mask arrow heads in Microstation as we do it for Text.

in the dimension settings for the note leader tool you can choose to change the arrow terminator for a custom cell instead of the default one.. 
 I suggest you create a new dimension style .. copy and rename/ edit an existing one is the best way... 
 place a note terminator and then "drop" it down to elements delete everything except the arrow head now you have your arrow head you can customise it with a shape that has a bg fill colour and a say white outside edge you can do this through the polygon properties you can have a fill and boundary of a polygon as different colours as a polygon has 2 attributes the outside boundary colour and fill on or off as a colour they dont have to be the same.. I use a colour 0 just so you can see where the outer edge is and move your arrow head on top and make sure it is after with select previous and bring to front... Rotate the lot so it has an angle like east west now edit the properties of the polygon so its just bg for inside and edge then place a fence around all of this and place cell origin at the point of the arrow , now create cell call it BGArrow then you can define that cell in your custom dim style from before..if you''ve never done it before..as custom terminator , cell = BGarrow or what ever you called it... 
 I would also export / import this custom style to a dgnlib file and make sure you and your colleagues can find it on the network...next time you need it it should be available anytime you choose dim style pull down as part of your company standards... 
 Sounds like a lot I know but it should only take you 10 mins tops....

 You haven&rsquo;t answered Jon's question. Assuming it&rsquo;s a Cell. Create a Block shape, set Area to Hole and Fill Color set to Background ( BG ). Bring the Arrow to front (File > Bring to Front). Now create a cell. Find a sample Cell library file attached for reference.
