I have just found out that I can't change a levels attributes of nested references using Level Manager. The sceenshot below shows them greyed out.
but in SS3 you can. See screenshot of the same file.
I assume that this is a bug and not WAD. Could we add this to the growing list of items that need to be resolved fro the first update, and which make using CONNECT painful?
José
Hi,
Jose is correct, MS_LEVEL_EDIT_NESTED_ATTACHMENT_LEVELS enables editing of nested references attributes.

This is not bug, in this case MicroStation CONNECT Edition works exactly the same as MicroStation V8i, where MS_LEVEL_EDIT_NESTED_ATTACHMENT_LEVELS variable is also not defined in default configuration.
I tested the variable in CONNECT Edition and it works fine.

For me it looks like you should add it to your growing list of things you have to change in your configuration.

That was it, thanks. I had forgotten that you have to set this!

You may well be right but there are a number of small irritations that make CONNECT painful to use. Some of these are things that work with SS3 but are broken in CONNECT!!
