MICROSTATION-SEARCH KEY WORD

The Find/Replace text tool will allow you to do this.

Are you trying to determine if the text is in a reference for or the active file? The reason I am asking is because if the text reference file you will not be able to edit the text unless the reference file is activated in the master file.

If you using  SS3 and  dgn index is installed you can use  windows explorer to search and list  all network drgs without  microstation opening and closing  files

in windows explorer you use  the find  with 

content THE TEXT YOU WANT   *.dgn.

this will produce a list  now  you can then open the dgns via explorer to launch in microstation and make your edits as  previous poster mentioned using find replace however I would use  the  batch processor to find replace because once you know which files to add via the widows search into the batch processor file browse ...
