In SS3 when I move an element or reference by a certain distance this distance would be remembered for the next element/reference you moved. This doesn't work in CONNECT and means I have to key in the distance each time.

This was a bug that was first corrected in 08.11.09.124. Only locked values should be recorded in the distance/angle history. You also don't need to key-in values to save them in the distance/angle history, you just need to lock them. So for example, if you are in polar mode and are snapped to the point/distance you want saved, just type "D" before accepting the data point and that distance will be recorded. HTH
