Is it possible to change the line weight of text inside a table cell? I can change the line weight of text that is not inside a table but I cannot figure out how to change it inside a table. Seems to default to 0 and be un-editable. I've looked at text styles and line weight is not an option, I've created a custom element template and tried to tie it to the tables nothing I do has any effect on the text weight.
Is this issue resolved after 6 years?? I am still facing issue today. I am trying to create a table seed file and in that table, I need cells with text that has different text weights but I still cannot find any way to do that in current version of Connect edition. Let me know if anybody found a way.

If using TrueType fonts, then you can't apply line weight. More accurately, you can assign a line weight to a TrueType font, but the appearance doesn't change. Only the legacy resource fonts obey all MicroStation symbology settings.

AutoCAD shape fonts actually shx, but bold doesn't cover the spread we use 3 line weights on font when needed sometimes 4. The point is you can change the line weight of raw text the same condition should exist in tables on a cell by cell basis. The fact you can change the line weight of the font within the entire able proves it's possible to adjust line weights within the table.
shx fonts are also "legacy" . Why not use a "similar" TTF font (at least for your tables)?
You've never tried to convince a firm after 20 years of using the same standards to change them have you. The fact we actually adopted connect in 2020 was monumental. The number of cells that would be broken not to mention how do you change text standards with 20 active projects some spanning years and not be messy.
As I said: I still have legacy fonts for customers.
But you are using the "new" feature for tables? How does that fit of 20 yrs standards.
I noticed that some standards are harder then others. So using the right ttf-font often goes unnoticed. (Only if they would have implemented a file scanner that does not allow anything besides their antiques)
And then suddenly the rules get changed ... eg. if finally somebody new is in charge.
Also it appears quite easy to generally switch fonts (though I only do If the typeface gets unbearable... which I find is often the case with the legacy fonts ...)
