I have just installed CONNECT on a HP Laptop with a NVIDIA Quadro FV 770M graphics card. The latest drivers are installed but I get the strange zinger lines.
At first I tried the QV_D3DVERSION = 9, but released this has been superseded by; QV_DISABLE_D3D11
NOTE: Using the QV_DISABLE_D3D11 removed the issue.
Question: What are the in-pack of using either or both of the following new variables:
QV_DISABLE_D3D11
QV_DISABLE_HARDWARE
Thanks

Hi Marco & Tim,
I know that this is an old thread, but the issue continues. Originally I had NVidia video cards, but I continued have driver issues. So I switched to AMD video cards. The worked fine until about the time Mstn CE U11 came out. Since that point, I have had two different (but related) video cards in my computer with at least three different versions of the driver software. And I still have video issues.

The response back that I get from filing a support ticket (after lots of effort) is "Using QV_DISABLE_HARDWARE = 1 will be the fix until the hardware vendor delivers a suitable driver."
My specific condition is Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit, AMD Radeon Pro WX 5100 (previously AMD FirePro W5000) with the 2019.Q2 drivers.
How are we (the customers) supposed to get this situation fixed?

did setting the disable variable solve the problems you are encountering ?
Yes, the visual problems went away...
