Can't delete level - Model (Animation)

Question

I have come across this before but the project was too far along to make changes to the base file. 
 I have a few files that have "Model (Animation)" on a level that is not part of our DOT's level library. I tried to delete the level but you know it says 
 "Level is used. Use command "level usage..........." which doesn't do much and when I "level purge" microstation picks the wrong level. I'm trying to delete lvl '15' but it purges level '15 Main' which is a good level AND all it does is move "Model (Animation)" to the default level. 
 Is there no way to get rid of that "model"?

I think figured out a solution! 
 
 Open the design file 
 key-in animator script new Test and press enter (This will create a new script name Test) 
 key-in animator script delete 1468bdr and press enter (This deletes the bad script named 1468bdr) 
 key-in model delete Test and press enter (This deletes the script named Test) 
 
 This should delete all of the scripts from the file. I would also suggest doing a Compress Design as a final step.

You can also try select File -> Compress -> Options and enable the options some options regarding Levels and Shared Cells that might help remove the level. 
Delete Unused Levels 
Delete Unused Nested Attachment Levels 
Delete Unused Anonymous Shared Cell

 How about we go back to old school basics 
 1. create new file from seed 
 2. ref attach your nasty file 1 model at a time and only the model you want first 
 3 . Fit view all 
 4. draw a small line select all and choose copy now use the east end of your line so you can move copy ack to the same point ie the line 
 5. detach the ref file 
 6. check your levels. 
 7. run clean up tool delete duplicates 
 8. create new model 
 9. in new model ref attach nasty file and use the next model in the nast file and repeat the process.. 
 you will eventually end up with a file that has only the good levels and you can replace your nasty file with this new file.. 
 if you only have the one model in nasty file its a lot quicker.... 
 OR 
 you could try export to v7 then 
 reconvert to v8i and use the remap csv to rename all the levels while this sounds easy its actually more work if you have a lot of levels but if you have a dot level dgn lib you may be able to make a csv template to get all the level names form dot standard first....
