[v8i] [SS3]
Hi.
It has been a few months now that Windows 10 rolled out to the public, with the promise of being compatible with most things in Windows 7 (that's probably not entirely accurate)...
Thanks in advance for any inputs.

Hi Edgar,
I am not an ordinary user, but I start and use different version of MicroStation (and also Bentley Map and Navigator) several times a day because of testing of application builds and to answer questions from my customers.

I still have Windows 8.1 on my main "developer PC" (waiting for Christmas holidays to have enough time), but I migrated my notebook (used when I am off site because of trainings etc.) and tablet pretty soon after Windows 10 release. So yes, I use Windows 10 nearly every day.

So far I have not found any problem. But I did not try e.g. to print 200 MB design file with 20 GB rasters attached ;-)

In my opinion the biggest issue are drivers, especially graphics driver quality. Windows 10 itself are pretty good piece of software and they are able to support quite wide portfolio of HW, but not all. On the other hand, what I heard the drivers for Windows 10 are not very different from Windows 8, so if any company is not able to provide certified drivers for Windows 10 now (don't talk about obsolete 10 years old HW ;-), it should not be treated as a serious supplier.
With regards,
Jan
