We can turn parametric solid in normal solids in CE?

the parametric solids in V8i are "transformed" in Extended Element if they were created or modified in CE. They could be modified in V8i only using Boolean tool as: Union, Intersection and Difference Feature under Feature Modeling Option:

If you want to modify the Parametric solids in V8i you can drop them into Smart solid as shown in this video:

Also if you create a Smart or Feature solid with CE and then you use Boolean tool the solids are automatically transformed in Parametric one. An Enhancement  was logged to request the option to chose if obtain a parametric or a non-parametric solids after using Boolean options #336785

There is also a 'convert to solid' tool in MS CE. That should do the trick for v8i Manipulation. We just discoverd that this does not work for conversions to other Systems like Navisworks, though.
