Delimited Text Files to dgn text coming into dgn out of line

Copy the text (Ctrl C) and Paste (Ctrl V) the Text into the MicroStation "Text Editor - Word Processor" dialog.

Assuming you have the correct Text Settings Font, Size, Spacing, etc. settings you can now Set/Adjust the Tab spacing (See attached image.)

I hope I have the right Idea as to what you are having trouble with.

From what I can see. The space before "_"POSGENE was in the original text I copied from your post. You were using Tabs to Deliminate between columns. The resource Font I used, is not mono-spaced.

That spacing is set by the Line Spacing setting for Text Placement. The Line Spacing is a portion of the Text Size (i.e. a Line Spacing of 0.5 would equal one/half the size of the Text.) If the text Size is 4 and the LS=.5 the Spacing between each line of text would be 2.

This means From the Top if the First line to the top of the second line would be 6. This can also be affected by the Line Spacing Type setting in the Text Style. I usually have it set to "At Least"
