I'm new to V8i SS3 and I'm trying to do something that worked in V8 2004. In one View window I could tentative a point and then move my mouse into any of my other views and use my mouse scroll button to zoom in on the tentative point. I haven't figured out a way to do this in V8i. Please help if you know how to do it. I don't remember having to set up anything special in V8 2004.

you sort of can do it have two views open but use the window area tool in one view and it has a little pull down with applies to view no.. just change the view number and the effect is the zoom is done in the other window.. really good for big picture stuff yo can also pan in one and it updates in the other ....

Hi Erik, I keep encountering frustration that this feature has not been implemented yet. This enhancement request was from over 3 years ago and I'm only trying to get a Microstation feature back that we had in Microstation V8 2004. I have kept my Microstation Connect Edition up to date and have not seen this feature yet. The loss of this feature slows me down considerably. I'm not sure why it was taken away in the first place. How do I get this moved up in priority??

Did you try the bird view mdl
