Hi Everyone,
I don't know if this is an issue or if I'm having a stupid moment.
For this question I will say that I have drawings A and B.
This is top view in drawing A:
This is top view in drawing B:
Every thing in red is live in drawing A and is referenced into drawing B. I want top view to be the same in A as it is in B.
The background survey data, in grey, is a reference and has not been rotated in either drawing.
It is referenced in and is located at 0,0,0.
In drawing B, what appears to be a single red line is in fact an elevation. I go to front view and I can see it face on, which for drawing purposes is what I want.
In drawing A (the live drawing), front view rotates to what I think is back view and I am not viewing the elevation face on, making drawing changes awkward.
So, with all that said, why is view showing me 2 different things in the 2 drawings?

Oh I see what you're saying.
Ok, here we go:
File 9 doesn't change to the standard top view when I try to apply it.
Hi Josh!
File 9 shows a Rectangle that is not flat (It is a Ramp) with one end lower than the other. Your ACS is set to that tilted plane. and your view is not looking along the Z axis of the file.
I Hope This Helps Someone Reading This! (Intergraph>PseudoStation>MicroStation user since 1980's)
Josh,
In the file GBOO-EG03-ECV-MO2-PEL-00001.dgn you have a Saved View with the name TOP. It has a completely different orientation than the built in TOP view. You can override the built in names but it is not recommended.
