Tags to text

Question

I simply followed what I found on BC regarding Change Tags Droptext keyin command to convert tags into text elements. Unfortunately the Tags were not change. 
 Did I miss anything? Any suggestions?

Are you referring to this support solution article:

 Both methods prescribed there should work. 
 You should be able to pre-select the text with the "CHANGE TAGS DROPTEXT" or issue the keyin and then select the text. 
 Using the Fence Freeze, make sure the method for the Fence Mode is set to "Inside" 
 If these do not work on your file(s) providing a sample file demonstrating the problem might be helpful.
