You started with 3 and now have 5 which is a small number but increasing in size, is it the same keyins listed ?
( If you use the same keyin, more than once it will not appear twice in the list so if using the same keyins on a regular bases the list will not get longer )

If you start a new session of MicroStation are the same 5 keyins still available?
If not then it would appear the buffer is being cleared, I found that removing the user preference file cleared the previously issued keyins, could it be this is getting reset with each session?

You could restore MicroStation to factory settings ( but you will loose existing settings ) - See communities.bentley.com/.../8671.restore-microstation-to-factory-defaults

RE: Keyin window memory

hi Andrew I am using V8i Ss3 08.11.09.459 and that is exactly what I am talking about. I can actually see 5 previous keyins now.

RE: Keyin window memory

You have not mentioned which version of MicroStation you are using. That said, looking at the Key-in dialog in V8i and CONNECT versions they both show quite a large number of previously used key-ins.

Is this what you are saying is not appearing? That you are only getting 3 previous key-ins listed here?

There is not a Workspace Preference or Configuration Variable that I can remember would define a limit to this list but I would not think it is impossible.

Maybe you could provide further details as to the version of MicroStation you are using and a screen capture to help explain what you mean.
