I have created custom tool boxes in a .dgnlib file. Now, I want to be able to open then from, say a pull-down menu. Is there a key-in that I can use to accomplish this? Thanks!
Thanks. I can create the tool boxes, that's not the issue. I want to open a tool box from a key-in without going through Tools > Tool Boxs. That is, I want to open them from a pull-down menu. Thanks!
Hi,
key-in to open a toolbox (both MicroStation standard ones and own toolbox) is dialog toolbox <toolbox name>, so the key-in defined for your menu item should be something like dialog toolbox "my own toolbox".
BTW It seems both options, dialog toolbox "my own toolbox" and dialog toolbox my own toolbox, work fine and quotation marks are not required if the toolbox name contains spaces, but in my opionion it's a good practice to encapsulate the name with spaces into quotation marks.
With regards,
Jan

Hi RIchard,
it's recommended to do not reopen 5 years old discussion.

What do you mean by "other tips or tricks". The discussed "dialog toolbox" key-in is the standard and when not working, the problem has to be analyzed and the reason identified. Not to escape and using workarounds.

Can be the list box opened using Open Tool Box option from context menu in Customize dialog?

Why to try "other names" when the name is defined?
