I have a number of files that have been moved/copied to another folder in order to create a different phase. While we have renamed major base files where redesign has occured we have not renamed topo, right of way, etc., files that will remain intact. But the files still have the path for the old folder that they started in i.e. A:Project1/base/ Now the new folder is: A:Project1/base/phase1. The "new" files still are "looking" at A:Project1/base.
Is there a keyin or utility that will 'make' the new phase1 dgn files look at the /phase1 folder instead of the old base/ folder?
Thank you
This can be done programmatically through a custom VBA. The following discussion might be helpful:

The way to avoid that problem in the future is to use MicroStation configuration variables. In particular, MS_RFDIR defines one or more paths that point to folders where your reference files are stored. You don't need to store the file path with the reference attachment. When reference folders change, as in this example, you simply redefine MS_RFDIR to include the new folder.
