Attaching PDF or TIFF as reference

Question

Attached a PDF and TIFF files as reference (with save relative path checked on), clipped reference to display desired area, save settings and exit. Open the file again but references no longer display. in the view window. What makes the references not to display. Did it several times but got the same results.

Please be aware that PDF and Tiff files should be attached to a file using Raster Manager.

In the Raster Manager there is a Clip command. Then in the Tool Settings you can choose either Clip Bound or Clip Mask. This is a bit different than the Reference dialog with each separated.
