Attached a PDF and TIFF files as reference (with save relative path checked on), clipped reference to display desired area, save settings and exit. Open the file again but references no longer display. in the view window. What makes the references not to display. Did it several times but got the same results.
thanks,
Cezar

In both Raster & Reference Attachments there is limits. Each Attachment is limited to 5000 points to define the Attachment display. A Block uses 5 (4 one each corner and 1 a linkage point = 5). The points used to Clip Bound and Clip Mask are combined for the total. Good rule-of-thumb. Don't waste points. In other words don't place a clip mask over another Clip mask to make it bigger. That wastes those points. You can get points back by removing Clip Masks that are not (no longer) necessary. The more points used, the more difficult it is to calculate it's display. ALSO when Re-Clip Bounding an attachment, there is an option to remove the existing Clip Masks!
That 5000 point limit is for V8 files. V7 (Pre V8) only had a 100 point limit. So watch out if the file is V7.
