Hi All,
When I try to print a PDF, microstation V8i crashes with this error: "Exception encountered inside [PrinterInterface.DriverBeginPlot]"
Process:
Load sheet file > Print > Bently Driver > Select driver configuration file > PDF > Print > Creating Print File......... = (Crashes) "Exception encountered inside [PrinterInterface.DriverBeginPlot]"
Please help, urgently need to print!
Thanks!
Bob, did you find an fix for this?
When I try to print a PDF, Microstation CEU10 crashes with this error: "Exception encountered inside [PrinterInterface.DriverBeginPlot]"I have a RASTER (PDF) attached in background.
It would not plot until I turn on Rasterised (sic). Maybe this would help others (bit late for the poster tho)

Thanks for the reply Greg. Strangely, it turned out that a config variable pathing for MS_DATA was the culprit. Really strange.
can you elaborate in detail what the problem with the variable was

It threw me Lorys as it was only showing up in my office and not at home.
It turned out to be a variable string:
MS_DATA < $(FMG_BLD)data/;$(MDF_FILES)
When I was going through the cfg file I noticed this and couldn't would out why the $(MDF_FILES) was added to MS_DATA so I deleted it.
I restarted AECOsim and tested the print tool and all worked well. Stumped me as the build works on my machine at home without the error. Not sure why it was playing up in the office.
The variable just points to:
MDF_FILES = $(FMG_BLD)data/mdf/
Another one for the memory bank. Never even come across this error before.
