Hi,
As the title, my cursor's crosshair has changed to a blck colour making it impossible to see.
I have tried using key in: set xor to change the colour but it does nothing.
Any ideas?
Thanks
AC
Sorry about the blurry image
Application – MicroStation
PROBLEM: Cursor is black while active in MicroStation applications
Operating system – Windows 10
Hardware platform – Laptops with multiple displays attached via docking station

Symptoms: Cursor is black making it difficult to see when using black background
Indicators: If laptop is open problem only occurs on monitor 3
If laptop is closed problem occurs on either monitor
Solution: Return monitor display scale to recommended setting (usually 100%) using the following steps
Step 1 Open laptop cover
Step 2 Right mouse button while displaying desktop
Click (left) display settings
Step 3 Use the identify and detect buttons under the display number to adjust settings for each display. The laptop screen is always #1. Select Display 1
Step 4 Change ‘Scale and layout’ to the recommended size of 100% - Repeat for display 2 and 3
Step 5 - Close the display settings dialog box, logout and reboot
Step 6 - Restart Bentley application and check to see if cursor displays properly
**It may now be possible to readjust the scale and layout without adversely affecting the cursor
**This issue may be more prevalent if you ‘Hot Dock’ the laptop. Best practice is to ensure your laptop is powered off when attaching to the docking station
Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you - this worked perfectly when nothing else did! This really shouldn't be so difficult, mind.
Addendum: my mistake. On closer analysis, my screen resolution had become appalling, so I rebooted, at which point the entire issue reverted. Darn!
