Cursor Crosshair Turned Black Colour

Hi,

As the title, my cursor's crosshair has changed to a blck colour making it impossible to see.

I have tried using key in: set xor to change the colour but it does nothing.

Any ideas?

Thanks

  • I have the same problem. For the last 7 years I use with no problems the P.Survey and P.Draft in a 17 inch 1080p laptop and a external 24 inch monitor with the same resolution.

Now I purchase a new laptop with a 14 inch 2880x1800 resolution (2,8k) and I use the same external monitor.

Using different display scales I have this Black Crosshair problem. But using the same dislpay scale in both monitors the problem disappears.

Now I configure my laptop at low resolution (1920x1200) and a 125% display scale. And for the external monitor the recommended resolution (1920x1080) and the same display scale, 125%. Im a land surveyor, not a computer technician, but for some reason using different display scales Windows turns crazy.

Now I study to purchase an external monitor with the same laptop resolution or near. But 2,8k is not usual. Meanwhile I can work and sleep peacefully.
