Connect Update 1 - Whats New/Fixed? Help only mentions a a change for "Checking for Product Updates"

If it took 6 months to get just that fixed, then something must have gone horribly wrong...

AZERTY support is in, the pop-up bottom row icons aren't cut off, there is undoubtedly more, but it would have been nice if they mentioned what they've been working on and what's supposed to be fixed in this update.

Now we'd have to try everything all over again.

Parametric cells are still placed on the active level, labels without leader still broken, wrong terminators on DWG dimensions still there.

Better not get our hopes up too high.

I can't believe they released a version with a .13 at the end. That is going to freak out a lot of superstitious users, especially if they have to use it on Fridays.

Thanks for posting this.  It would be nice of Service Request Manager included defect numbers so we could cross check issues we logged with those fixed.

I see a few things I've logged were fixed.  

Also I have not seen the fabled Notification when your logged SR is fixed.  Did anybody else received notification that one their SR what resolved?

So many issues fixed, so many more issues to fix. At this rate it's going to take more than one more update before it's production ready.

If we log a SR or TR, why don't we get an email from Bentley to say the issue has been fixed....

Call out to users

Now we have seen what CE Update 1 has to offer. I think we should compile a list of issues, we the users deem as show stopper, major issues, issue we deem are stopping us from using CE.

My issues;

Speed. takes 5-10 times longer to open a DGN than V8i.
No Workset links not been improved, thus average users has no way to control this
Cannot Customize the File menu
No Level filter icon in the Attribute dialog
PowerDraft Ce +1 (I guess will not have batch convert tools - even though we are crying out for it.)

Agree that there should be a list we can all access. It would be helpful if we were able to access SR/CR and recognised Defect lists from Bentley. I don't know how many SR/CR's I have filed over the years without ever being alerted to a fix. And would be good for Bentley to list priorities of Fix's. If we can see that they are spending time fixing insignificant bugs when major ones sit unattended then we can flag up to bump something up the list.

I have a fairly extensive list that I am still testing against update 1, however, 2 major issues have been logged as defects but not fixed in update 1 below:
1. Freezing when selecting cells/lag when switching files was filed as a defect# 324922 in October (would suggest you take a look at this regarding file opening times. de listing the MS_CELLLIST and MS_CELL variable improves file load quite majorly)
