Hello.
There seems to be some mismatch between MicroStation (SS4) and my Network Locations.
I have a number of mapped drives but when I browse to This PC in MicroStation explorer some drives are missing and some drives are in the MicroStation explorer that are not in the windows explorer. Oddly enough, this is not the case with Bentley Geospatial Administrator (or any other program for that matter).
Any one who knows this problem and a solution maybe?
Regards,
Bjorn Magnus Arnason

Unknown said: when upgrading to Windows 10 I wasn't logged in as local administrator, but my profile has administrator privileges so I didn't think it would matter. When Windows 10 was set up, the Admin icon has been attached to the MicroStation and Bentley Map icons on my desktop so something is not right. I don't know if these two issues are connected
Different Windows accounts have different settings. The mapped drives for you as Admin are different for the mapped drives for a non-Admin user. Log-in to the account used to update Windows 10 and verify that the drive map is the same as for your Admin a/c. If not, try adding the 'missing' drives.

Hello. I just wanted to report that we have resolved the problem. Naturally this was all about a simple check-mark in a box that should not have been checked. I right-clicked the MicroStation icon on my desktop and chose properties. In the Compatibility tab there is a check-box for Run this program as an administrator. This box was checked. I un-checked it > Apply > OK > everything is normal and all my mapped drives are found in the Open File... dialog. Thank you very much for your time and responses. Regards, Bjorn
YES! Why would this cause it grrr lol. Either way. Thanks a lot!!
