Hi,
I have a line at an angle and a circle. I want to snap the line tangent to the circle but when I use tangent snap it does this:
That snap point does not match any of the 3 handles for the circle and it's not 90° to the original line.
Any help is appreciated.
Hi Josh,
Move To Contact will do this in one step.
Move to contact ! Brilliant!, never thought it would be tangent to the circle... but this tool is relatively new so we dont think of it straight away...I need to use it more often...
I always thought of it as 3d solution tool but I can see it has lots of uses...
Thanks again for sharing it ... gosh I love this forum ....even after 20 years I keep learning new stuff....!

Move to contact was the first thing I tried, but CE failed at it for some reason.
Is that a bug in CE or does that work in CE as well and does it only work for some sizes of circles and/or lines?
