keyin for changing rotation tool from 3pt to active angle

Hi,

A number of users have saved their settings with the rotation tool set to 3pt. There is now a requirement to move and rotate the data, and i am proposing to do this through keyins and batch process.

When trying to set the active angle i only have 2pt or 3pt, but not the actual angle itself

if anybody can point me in the right direction, that would be appreciated

Thanks

  • The key-in to change the method of rotation for the Rotate Element tool is: "rotate original". This will switch the method to 'Active Angle'. I will list some other helpful key-ins for this.

"rotate copy" does the same as "rotate original" but checks the Copy option, so a copy is made during the rotation.
"rotate points" changes the method to '3 points' while "rotate points copy" does the same thing but adds the copy option.

Do you need any further help?

    Cheers,

    Erik M.

  • search your instal of mstn for 55menu.dgn

its the old pallet digitiser  for version 5.5  it has awesome  keyins for everything that was available in Ver 5.5  all of which is still in V8i... only new features are not available

you have to fiddle with  fills off and  levels on of to find the  scripts under the icons of labels but a great  resource for F key programing and  batch scripts...or custom menus etc... I love it!

If you dont have  it  pm me  or email and  I'll send it to you...
