What are the maximum number of references allowed on Microstation V8i? I have 30 and some working content within the drawings is erased everytime I save suggesting I've hit a limit on something

I have handled a similar issue some time ago.

In that instance the file, which had no references attached, originated from a V7 file format.

Could you check whether that is case with you as well?

What was done to resolve the issue, as the file somehow was corrupted, was to do a Fence File in order to save all the content to a new file, being in V8 format. Probably the file size will be smaller after this action.

Then reattach all the references files.
