Connect Edition File Open Preview window

Hi George, 

Issue mentioned is not reproduced on my Win10 box. Preview window could be adjusted on File Open dialog, Button indicated in red box can be used for closing  preview window. 

Can you share a video of issue faced ?

Thank You Swapnil for your response! Thanks for checking. Thanks for showing me where the Preview On/Off is!
I tried again to adjust the size of the Browse Preview area by holding the Left click down, on the dividing bar, and found if I wait long enough, it will allow me to Adjust the size but the amount of time it took, was a bit ridiculous!
For a file that is 3,954 KB It took: 3 seconds to display the file in the Preview area. 9 min. before I could use the bar to adjust the size.
If I tried to adjust in between it would allow me to move/adjust the bar one pixel at a time. I tried a file that was only 67 KB and had the same thing happened.
I can do a Fit, Pan, Window, etc. in the displayed Preview during that 9 minutes. I just could not adjust the size.

I am seeing the same issue in Connect Edition Update 2, on Windows 7.

It appears to be related to the AccuSnap. I can get the window to resize if I perform a right click while an element is highlighted by AccuSnap. This opens the pop-up that lists the view control tools. This also suspends AccuSnap while the pop-up is open.  While this pop-up is open, try to adjust the File Open dialog size, but don't allow the mouse cursor to move into the preview area or AccuSnap will become active again. I usually get it to adjust freely on the second dialog resize attempt. Now you should be able to freely adjust the preview area until you select a different file.

It works even though my PC is Windows 10 (but upgraded from Windows 7)
I tried turning AccuSnap off in the file first, before going to the File>Open>Browse, but AccuDraw is on when I open the Browse Preview.

I think AccuSnap is always ON by default as part of the "DGN Preview Handler" that is installed with MicroStation.

AccuSnap needs to be suspended automatically while the user adjusts the preview size.

This definitely needs to be fixed so it works correctly and consistently.
