CE u2 Changing active cell takes 1-2 minutes.

I have found the same issue, ever since EAP2. It is to do with the MS_CELLLIST variable. do you have this defined? If so, try undefining it and see how the cell library acts now?

Bentley have apparently been unable to reproduce the issue which I am finding more than a little frustrating so it is good to know that I am not alone. I have SR #7000543759 open but have found no resolution. Support just keep telling me it is to do with my network, which is definitely NOT the case. The same files, with the same cell libraries and same variables defined works without any delay in V8i.

Duncan, clearly you are not alone. I also have a delay changing cell to cell, not 1-2 minutes but lot of seconds like 15-20 seconds. The same files that on V8i are instant. And don't use the variable in CE or V8i.

I didn't think I was using it either however it appears the default configuration sets paths for MS_CELLLIST.  So you need to explicitly overrides the default paths and set it to null.

Yes, with null it seems ok at first tests. But I see this only as a workaround, it's work tedious to have to jump from one file to another from diferent directories when we always had the shortcuts in cell library.
