CE u2 Fillet/Reference file issue

Question

When set to [Truncate: First] the construct circular fillet command will not accept the second element if it is a reference file even though it does not need to be modified. If set to [Truncate: None] will place the fillet however the first element must then be manual modified.

As my colleagues mentioned the current behavior is WAD(Work As Design). We discussed internally and created enhancement # 590685 for this request. ~Sumit

I have tested the operation of the Construct Circular Fillet tool with Truncate First selected. Going back through all of the major releases of MicroStation V8 there has never been the capability to use the Truncate First option with referenced elements. As the tool requires modification to at least one of the elements in this workflow it would not be able to use the referenced element as this is in a ReadOnly mode.

Yes, I agreed with Andrew. I have also tested in various version, as far as in MS/J. Elements that appeared in references can be performed using "Construct Circular Fillet tool with Truncate (None). and here, the first element must then be manual modified . Work as designed.
