I have an existing V7 file that contain approximately 23500 cells that contain data fields. I need to update the cells prior to bringing into our GIS DB. When I run the Replace Cell>method-Update command, none of the existing data fields are retained.
Is there a method to replace/update and still retain the existing data fields?
Thanks

Sorry Mike and others I didnt see the teeny tiney text you used at the bottom asking to keep the data fields...
I think for what you want to use in GIS db later you'd be better off doing the whole thing in GIS,
You could create two tables one with the text labels from the EDFs and another for the cells ,
Then in msnt replace the cells in a new dgn and reimport to GIS and merge the tables to create the links between the new cells and their gps origin and the old cells and data fields ... I've done this before in MapInfo a long time ago with geocoding the text as labels and the cells as symbols ... but not as easy in msnt V8i
