I made the mistake of letting Windows updated to Windows 10 for Free ( nothing is Free). It worked ok ,wasn't crazy about the resolution for MicroStation but, it work ok.
Now the problem reared its ugly head when it updated to the latest build. What was Microsoft thinking? I roll back to the previous windows 10 build because Microstation would no longer finish loading. Rolling back didn't help.
I now have a pc that's as useful as a brick running Microstation.
I tried turning off many of the invasive parts of windows 10 to see if this would help. I dont know if this helped or started the problems
Any thoughts
You're talking about the Anniversary Edition of Windows right? Version 1607.
Have you tried un- and reinstalling MicroStation?
That was my next plan of attack. I was hoping to avoid this,it's my last hope. If that doesn't work then I'm reloading win 7. All of this is causing me time. Time is money Microsoft. I thought Microsoft was supposed to fix win 8 with this release. Sometimes I wish bentley still had a mac version.
I tried to repair the install. Didn't work
I uninstalled it and connect Edition that I thought I had already uninstalled. Perhaps Windows 10 resurrected it
Ran Ccleaner
Reinstalled SS4 - didn't work
