U3 - Not able to create New file from Open dialog

Question

Just noticed that you now can't create a New file from the Open dialog, as you can with SS3/SS4. Is this WAD or just missed out? I use this workflow quite a lot!!

Hi StuartW, 
 From within MicroStation you can create a new file doing File menu\New file 
 But I believe you are right by doing Ctrl+O the dialog opens but the icon that allows you to create a new file is not available from here in CONNECT Edition. 
 You can use Ctrl+ N instead , I tried with this one and it allows me to create a new file by selecting the seed file needed. 
 So Ctrl+ O to Open a file and Ctrl+ N to create a New file

The intent here was to make the open file and new file operations clearly distinctive in their function if using the CTRL+O and CTRL+N keyboard combinations. 
 
Alternatively, as Tim points out, you can also easily use the New option from the backstage when you are opening a file.
