I'm using Explorer in Connect & every time I do a file-SaveAs or compress a dgn or open another file, Explorer resets itself & I have to reopen each folder to get to the files I want to open from there.

Has anyone noticed this issue or how to fix it? it's driving me crazy and I want use this like I did with V8i SS3. I'd hate to have to go back a version to use MicroStation like I want to.

I have reproduced your issue. I filed Defect 616996. This will be evaluated by the product management team for our regular SELECT updates.
A Service Request will also be logged so you can receive notification of changes to the status. Any other users that encounter this issue can also log a Service Request to be informed of changes.
