We are working in Microstation Powerdraft V8. Could someone tell me how to count cells? I know there is a way through the MDL app's but I cannot find it. If anyone has an easy way to do this please let me know. We're trying to count plants in our dgn file and it's very tedious counting them on the hard copies.

We've written a tool for Cell Counting in VBA. It works with both MicroStation V8 and MicroStation CONNECT.
It's freeware.

No (that's the first time anyone's asked that question)!
Describe a scenario where you would want to count nested cells. The Cell Counting macro is freeware, so the license revenue doesn't support further development.
But, as with all our freeware VBA macros, the project includes source code. You can take that and build on it to achieve whatever tool you want.
