Hello,
I am trying to attach the USGS Topo map using the WMS option in Raster Manager. I created a ".xwms" file, saved and attached it, however, the attachment received an error message "The value of the following parameter is invalid SCALEHINT:MAX value-[8041]".
The server address is https://basemap.nationalmap.gov/arcgis/services/USGSTopo/MapServer/WmsServer
How can this be fixed? thanks,

What version of MicroStation are you running? I tried your URL in MicroStation 08.11.09.832 and did not have a problem. Check the following settings in WMS Edit
Scalehint is optional WMS parameter why it is treated as critical error at all..
I know this is an old thread, but can you share the xwms file you used that works?
