How to i reset or remove the display set depth & Active depth.

Open your Key-In Browser, and you can use the Keyins
DP = -10000,10000
(Sets your Display Depth to anything between -10,000 and 10,000; use any numbers you like)
AZ = {whatever elevation you want to be drawing on}

Open the View Attributes dialog for your view and make sure that both Clip Front and Clip Back are not checked. HTH

Ctrl+B to Open View Attributes. Turn off Front/Back Clip & Display Set.

There are times when display depth is extremely useful but one must understand how to control them too.

I have also been known to use DP= or DD=. DP= sets display depth to the exact values entered. DD= is a delta display depth. Each can be positive or negative. So to increase display depth by 100 in each direction, DD=-100,100. If you are actually looking at a slice of a model and wish to move forward or backwards into or out of the model, use DD=-50,-50 or DD=50,50.

I use these a lot when working with Point Clouds from a 3D Laser Scanner.

I got away from those and use the newer Clip Volume tools for the cuts etc. I will even use some of the newer Drawing Composition tools for cutting sections etc. It still uses Clip Volume. But I go back to the old tools occasionally. Having and knowing the old options and new make you more flexible. Don't be someone who doesn't want to learn more! AZ= DP= DD= & DZ= are still valid if you want them. Don't forget the Active Depth (AZ=) still has to be between the Display Depths (DP=) even with the Clip Front Back filters off.

To see ALL your depth is almost impossible to know unless you get into your working unit settings including the Advanced area.
