Microstation ss4 08.11.09.832 Level Display problem

We have a user that is losing his level display dialog box. The strange thing is, no other dialog boxes react this way, He will bring out the box, then start to draw a line and the dialog box disappears. He has to constantly re-open it.

I tried the docking.xml method first with no luck. I then deleted the upf and associated files and it fixed it. Thanks guys for the help.
