Problems or changes to Microstation CE4

It would be helpful if you could identify these issues you have using example design files or screen captures. It may also be useful if you could provide your workflow when performing these operations.

Re workflow
I have to use autocad line styles. I do use dgn file type. May be saved as dwg later - depending on client.
To test my workflow I created a new file with the 3d metric seed - using MS line styles.
only change in display styles - hidden line - visible edges - un-check solid line style. (as usual)
Using MS line styles solved problems 1 & 3. (autocad line styles seem to be the problem)
no change to problem 2. - that may be linked to vector printing not processing transparent objects ?
I understood that this worked on V8i, but can not check this anymore.
I will have to remember which files to raster print.

Hi Brett,
For 1 & 3 , you mentioned that using ACAD LineStyle , you were seeing problems.
Can you share the LineStyle used ?
For 3 , I was able to reproduce the issue & will file a defect for this.

I tried to attach the acad.lin file but the system blocked me.

the line style I was using is just the standard center

I revisited my test file from 3d metric seed

- problem 3 occurs for any lines style other than 1 to 7

- problem 1 can occur on one solid but works fine on a solid on another level?
I will investigate further - in future transparency by level will be ok.
