Toolbox pop in/out to sides

Question

Hello there, 
 recently i changed my work pc and i needed to re-configure my working screen again. but there is one setting i cannot change, so i need help! Usually i dock some windows to the sides of my screen and pin them so they can pop in/out when as i need them. well on the new pc the little arrow that used to show up when docking the box disappeared and the little "pin" on the top of the box is not there too. what i am doing wrong?

It should not matter which version of MicroStation V8i but when you drag each dialog to be docked to the side of the application window you should see separate arrow to the left and right indicating where it is going to be docked. Once the dialog has been docked it will show the small pin and arrow for the other options within the docking options. These will not appear if the dialog has not been docked properly.

please try to reset MS user's preferences and delete MicroStation temp files to test if the issue is with the current MS user. Instructions how to do that can be found in following wiki article:

Are you work with high screen resolution like 4k?
