We use the Microstation V8i Command Window (MS_USECOMMANDWINDOW) for typing commands.
We could turn it on under Workspace/Configuration/Operation/Use Command Window & set the value to 1.
Has this been eliminated in Microstation Connect?

You mean the key-in window?
Look at the MicroStation CONNECT ribbon menu. Top-right is a search tool. Start typing a command in that tool to see matches...
Press your Enter key to activate the selected tool.

No not the Key-in. It is the "Command Window".
