Wanted to dock the task menu to the side. I tried editing the configuration variable MS_MAINMENUDOCKINGBESIDE settings from Undefined to 1 , save settings but the value remained [Undefined].
Any ideas?
Thanks, Cezar
You should be able to drag your task menu to the side of the view. You should see a little box popup hover the task menu over that box and tasks should appear gray along side of view. Then drop the task menu and Save Settings this should retain your task menu setting. If your settings are not being saved make sure your upf and docking.xml files have read/write access. You may try renaming the upf and docking.xml files to .old. MicroStation will create new files. See if you can now save settings.
See this forum which has a video included.https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/f/microstation-forum/137802/toolbox-pop-in-out-to-sides/417090#417090
It's working now.
Thanks Todd
